Bulls point guard Derrick Rose sits out game against Celtics

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose sat out Sunday’s game against the Boston Celtics with a back injury, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Rose also missed Friday’s win over the Charlotte Bobcats with back spasms. C.J. Watson will start in place of Rose.

Rose told reporters before the game that he will be seeing specialists in Chicago on Monday, according to the Chicago Tribune.

This will mark Rose’s seventh game missed this season.

In 23 games this season, the league’s reigning MVP has averaged 22.0 points and 7.8 assists per game.
