Anderson Varejao to miss several weeks with injured wrist

Anderson Varejao will be out another four to six weeks because of the fractured right wrist he sustained during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Feb. 10. Varejao, however, will not need surgery.

The center was having the best of his eight seasons in the NBA, averaging 10.8 points and 11.5 rebounds per game for the 11-16 Cavs.

Semih Erden starts in Varejao’s place.
