Chris Paul has nasal fracture, wearing mask like Kobe

There's another masked man in Los Angeles.

Clippers point guard Chris Paul warmed up for Sunday's game against Golden State wearing a mask similar to the one being worn by Kobe Bryant, who suffered a broken nose in the NBA All-Star Game.

Paul was hit in the face by Danny Green during Friday's game against San Antonio. A team spokesman told The Los Angeles Times Paul was X-rayed on Saturday and has a nasal fracture.

The spokesman told the newspaper Paul will have to wear the plastic mask while he plays for a few weeks.

"It's annoying and he plays point guard, so I don't know how he's going to do it," teammate Kenyon Martin told the Times. "I don't know how he's going to go out there and maneuver with that thing on."

Martin, who has played in a mask before because of a similar injury, says Paul can expect to hear about his new look.

"He's not exempt from getting teased," Martin said.

Already a five-time NBA All-Star at the age of 26, Paul was averaging 20.2 points and 8.5 assists heading into Sunday's game against the Warriors.
