Report: Kris Humphries wants $7 million from Kim Kardashian

Nets forward Kris Humphries is demanding $7 million from Kim Kardashian as part of the estranged couple’s divorce settlement.

Humphries’ Minnesota-based lawyer has told Kardashian’s representatives that if she does not pay that money, a long, public trial is on the horizon.

Kardashian, however, is not budging, since, under their prenuptial agreement, she owes Humphries nothing. Futhermore, since the marriage lasted just 72 days, their community property would not be close to $7 million, TMZ notes.

Additionally, Humphries has already benefited financially from the marriage, earning $1 million from the wedding and related TV special, as well as $250,000-300,000 from the Kardashian reality show, sources told the site.

But sources close to Humphries told TMZ that the money from the wedding and TV shows went into a joint bank account and Humphries has received none of it. They also say Humphries doesn’t even care about the money, and that he just wants an annulment.
