Detroit guard Ben Gordon again started over Rodney Stuckey on Friday night as Pistons coach Lawrence Frank eases Stuckey back into the mix following a three-game absence with a sore left hamstring.
That won't last for much longer, though.
Frank said before the team's loss to the Hawks on Friday that Stuckey would soon be back in the starting lineup and Gordon would return to coming off the bench, when the coach felt that Stuckey was ready to handle his normal workload.
Things progressed in that direction on Friday night, with Gordon playing only 18 minutes and scoring six points, while Stuckey played 29 minutes and scored 27 points, but hurt his left big toe.
