The Miami Heat may get a boost to their bench on Sunday with Mike Miller likely to return to the lineup, according to ESPN.com.
Miller has been out since March 10 with a second-degree left ankle sprain that cost the Miami swingman 14 games.
Miller made it through the Heat's Saturday practice and is expected to play on Sunday against the Detroit Pistons if he has no setbacks.
"Mike's workout was good, it's looking positive," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "Today he was able to do everything, full contact."
In 28 games, Miller is averaging just 5.6 points per game. However, he is shooting 49.3 percent on 3-pointers. That mark would qualify for the league lead if Miller had played in more games. He also missed the first month of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a sports hernia.
