Michigan freshman Trey Burke reportedly ready to move on to NBA

Point guard Trey Burke is expected to leave Michigan after his freshman year to enter the NBA Draft.

However, his father Benji told The Associated Press in a text message on Wednesday, that there has been "no decision" yet.

Burke (5-foot-11, 180 pounds) averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds this season after taking over the Wolverines’ starting point guard spot from Darius Morris, who also left school early and was selected by the Lakers with the 11th pick of the 2nd round (41st overall) in last year’s draft.

Burke is not listed among Draft Express’ top 100 NBA prospects, but NBA executives have told CBS Sports that since this year’s class is so weak at point guard, there’s a chance he'll go in the first round.
